An exhibition of artifacts created with coconut shell was organised at Rajangana on 15.07.2018. U.T Khader, the minister of urban development & Housing inaugurated the event, while Leader of opposition Kota Shrinivasa Poojari, MLAs K. Raghupati Bhat, Lalaji Mendon, Sukumara Shetty and the artiste couple B. Venkata Ramana Bhat were present.

He also delivered the anugraha sandesha. Legislator of Udupi K.Raghupati Bhat presided over the function. Former minister Pramod Madhvaraj, Senior art critic A.Eshwarayya, President of Udupi and Dakshina Kannada Fisheries Federation Yashpal Suvarna, Retired Deputy Registrar of Manipal University T.Ranga Pai, Director of Srinivasa Group of Educational Institutions Vijayalakshm.R.Rao, Secretary of A.Shyama Rao Pratishtana S.Rao participated as chief guests.
